Who Are We?

St. Catharines United Mennonite Church is in the heart of the established community of St. Catharines, Ontario. We are a multi-generational church with a thriving children’s ministry and strong connection to the community. Our large, multi-purpose facility provides a versatile space for community events, performances, and both mid-week kids’ programming and successful summer Vacation Bible Camp. Our church is rooted in and actively supports the local community and organizations. We aspire to be a welcoming and comfortable place for individuals to come and feel spiritually and emotionally nourished.

Our Vision

As a Mennonite denomination, we hold many common core beliefs and value our history as a people of God. Our belief in God and Jesus Christ links us with our Christian denomination.
While we respect our foundation and traditions, we are looking to engage with future generations by fostering the spiritual growth of our congregation and connecting with the community. We aim to address the spiritual needs of our congregation and our community by identifying, developing, and building spiritual gifts.
Our church’s mission statement encompasses being “sent to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus Christ”. As God has called us to be followers of Jesus and equipped us through the Holy Spirit, we hope to bring peace, love, joy, and grace into the community. Our congregation is very giving and supportive with acts of service both within and beyond the walls of our church. It is an ongoing process for us as we strive towards our mission and recognize opportunities for new growth.
