Randy Klaassen
Pastor
In his ministry with seniors Pastor Randy engages the community to “finish well.” He supports families in transition through the later stages of life, sharing resources and insights for living life to the fullest.
His post-secondary education includes Bible College, University, Seminary and training as a Spiritual Director.
Randy is active in the community as a writer and publisher, operating “People’s History Publications” dedicated to creating memoirs vital to Canadian history. He volunteers with Civil Air Rescue Emergency Service Niagara.
Randy and his wife, Renate, live in Virgil, and have two adult children and one grandchild.
Paul Adams
Interim Support
Paul has served for over 45 years as a pastor in Quebec, Manitoba and Ontario. He has since retired twice, and with his wife Candy, they joined the membership at SCUMC. In November 2021 he was asked to assist as interim support during this time of transition, while the church searches for a new Lead Pastor.
Eileen Goodyear
Office Administrator
Eileen grew up attending St. Catharines United Mennonite Church and later moved to Niagara-on-the Lake. She studied Business Administration in College and later worked as a church office administrator in Niagara-on-the-Lake for 20 years. Her most rewarding volunteer ministry was working as a facilitator for “Niagara Eagles”, a social group for young adults with special needs.
Eileen joined us in the Fall of 2019 and has enjoyed reconnecting with the many congregants that she knew as a child here at SCUMC.
Monty & Sandra Aitken
Custodians
Monty & Sandra joined us in 2000 and have enjoyed their work here very much. They’ve made many lasting friendships over the years.
